Utica, NY – Excitement was in the air when students from Upstate Caring Partners Tradewinds Education Center in Utica, Rome, and Chadwicks attended their annual prom on Friday, June 7, 2024. A night of music, dancing, and camaraderie was enjoyed by more than 65 students at the Armory campus in Utica, marking another successful outing of this yearly tradition.
Each year, Tradewinds students aged 18 years and older look forward to this memorable occasion. Family and friends gathered to accompany their loved ones down the signature red carpet during the grand march. The students arrived in style, being escorted in limousines generously provided by Adonis-Avanti Transportation Service. Food catered by Tony’s Pizza was available for everyone to enjoy.
“Prom is a special occasion for students, serving as an opportunity to acknowledge their accomplishments while creating lasting memories.” stated Jeremy Earl, Executive Vice President of Education Services at Upstate Caring Partners. “It is a time for celebrating individuality and promoting self-expression in an effort to foster self-confidence within a supportive environment. Prom is an event that our education program looks forward to every year, knowing that many of our students feel the same. It is with great pride that we honor these students, many of whom reside with us throughout the year.”
The prom is one of the final events for Tradewinds students before the school year officially concludes. Community organizations interested in participating in next year’s prom are encouraged to contact
