The Tradewinds Education Center provides excellence in education and residential services to your child or family member between the ages of 5 and 21 who has been diagnosed with a severe behavioral and/or developmental disability. The program offers services for students who attend our school and return home at the end of the day, as well as for students who attend school and live in residences on our campuses, which are located in Utica, Rome and Chadwicks, New York.
A primary emphasis of the Tradewinds program is to provide a therapeutic environment for your child, supporting the development of social skills and communication. Using a comprehensive approach with each child, the education, clinical and residential staff, in conjunction with families, develop and implement goals and objectives focused on the overall development of each student, providing a supportive, positive environment for all students to learn and grow.
