Community Mental Health Apartments

The Upstate Cerebral Palsy supported apartment program is a residential alternative that provides you or your loved one a supportive and more independent living option. The program provides support to individuals in our apartments that are certified by the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH). Staff provides 24-hour support and assistance by phone and on-site visits. The goal of the apartment program is to assist individuals in learning the skills necessary to one day live independent and successful lives.

Rental stipends and money for apartment set-up may be provided to individuals receiving mental health services in the community. Staff frequently visit to ensure there is stability and that people are utilizing community services to their fullest potential.
