A Night of Magic and Memories

Sauquoit, NY —Students from Upstate Caring Partners’ Tradewinds Education Center stepped into a world where fairytales met the mystical at their unforgettable prom night, held at the enchanting Root Farm in Sauquoit, NY on June 6, 2025.
With a theme straight out of a storybook, the evening was filled with joy, laughter, and a little bit of magic. Students participated in a grand march, followed by music by DJ Dave, dancing, and food provided by Nina’s Kitchen and Tony’s Pizzeria that kept the celebration going strong.
This year’s prom welcomed honored guest Superintendent Rocco Migliori of the Westmoreland Central School District, whose presence highlighted the strong community partnerships that support inclusive education and celebrate the achievements of all students.
This special night wasn’t just about the students—it was a celebration for families too. Parents and loved ones joined in the festivities, sharing in the joy of a milestone that every young person deserves to experience.
Jeremy Earl, Executive Vice President of Education at Upstate Caring Partners, shared his thoughts on the evening:
“Every child, no matter their ability, deserves the chance to feel the magic of prom night. It’s more than just a dance—it’s a celebration of growth and friendship. And for families, it’s a moment to witness their child shine. These are the memories that last a lifetime.”
The Root Farm provided the perfect backdrop for this whimsical evening, where every student was the star of their own fairytale. From sparkling gowns to dapper suits, the night was a beautiful reminder that inclusion, joy, and community are always in style.
