There are a variety of opportunities to make a difference at Upstate Cerebral Palsy. One of those is to make a donation to a special fund targeted to your unique interests.
The agency has a number of special funds, including Annette’s Kids’ Club, which provides special activities and programs for our children. The funds have provided Boy and Girl Scout uniforms, tuxedos for the prom and field trips throughout New York State to events such as a Yankees Baseball Game, Niagara Falls and the State Fair.
Other funds include Pets Add Warmth and Support (P.A.W.S.), which provides pets to residents in our agency houses. The benefits of having a pet are widely known and much research has been conducted to prove the physical and mental health benefits of living with a pet. Financial support of P.A.W.S. provides for the basic care of these animals, such as food, veterinary visits and training.
Finally, the ART Fund provides unique art experiences for children and adults in our programs. There are a variety of classes offered in the Studio ART Program including painting, pottery or silk scarf making. A donation to the ART fund allows people to purchase supplies and to take classes throughout the year.
