Habilitation Services are designed to assist people with learning life skills to maximize their independence and support their long term goals and dreams. Services are provided in the community by Community Habilitation Aides (CHAs) to people who reside independently, with families or in a certified residence. Activities and services are developed in partnership with the person and include financial management, meal planning and preparation, personal health care and relationship building. Community Pre-Vocational Services such as ASPIRE also offer skill building towards ultimately achieving employment. All services are provided in environments that promote optimal learning, integration and independence.
