Utica Comet Visits Tradewinds Education Center Students

Defenseman Dave Shields (#5) of the Utica Comets recently visited children at the Tradewinds Education Center of Upstate Cerebral Palsy. Shields enthusiastically greeted and signed autographs for the students. Tradewinds Principal Greg Sova and Teacher Joe Jarmula presented Shields with a plaque on behalf of the staff and students at Tradewinds, expressing their gratitude and support. The Tradewinds Education Center at Upstate Cerebral Palsy is a comprehensive educational and residential facility committed to providing excellence in education to children between the ages of 5 and 21 who have been diagnosed with severe behavioral and developmental disabilities.
