Buddy Walk

The Buddy Walk® is a one-mile awareness event that promotes the advocacy of friends and family members and the inclusion and acceptance of individuals with Down Syndrome. This event provides an opportunity to understand, appreciate and see these individuals for who they truly are...Able, Unique, Gifted and Diverse! The Buddy Walk® is presented by the Mohawk Valley Down Syndrome Support and Awareness Group, a program of Upstate Cerebral Palsy.

The Buddy Walk takes place in Hanna Park in Utica with registration at 10:00am and the walk beginning at 11:00am. Entertainment includes music, activities, balloons and characters. Down Syndrome literature will be available and Buddy Walk apparel will be for sale.  Donations and pledges are accepted but are not required to walk.  To register, call Upstate Cerebral Palsy at 724-6907 ext. 2308 or 2276.
