Bowl for Kids' Sake

Bowl for Kids’ Sake is the signature event for the local Big Brothers Big Sisters organization to help raise funds and recruit new volunteers. Friends, family members and local businesses may sponsor participants for any amount desired. Anyone can enter, either individually or as a team, and teams are composed of five players each. Fun for all ages and experience levels, individual bowlers or smaller groups will be placed with other bowlers to form squads of five for the bowling games. $35 minimum in paid pledges gets each bowler a Bowl for Kids' Sake t-shirt, shoe rental and 2 free games of bowling.

Big Brothers Big Sisters matches adult volunteers with children primarily from single-parent homes. A Big Brother or Big Sister can have a major impact on a child's life and yet it's a truly simple process. It just takes some time, a love of life and a concern for children.
